Locutio has secured the rights to bring the original voices of The Simpsons™ to the navigation sector in multiple territories. Launching the Homer Simpson voice on the TomTom website in association with Twentieth Century Fox and Gracie Films in June 2009, the Homer Simpson voice is available to download in 14 countries from both TomTom.com and Amazon.com.

Locutio began working with TomTom in 2005, and have supplied them with English, Spanish and French navigation voice content since then. More recently, Locutio launched the Homer Simpson GPS voice on www.TomTom.com in June 2009 to great acclaim.

Sony Europe
Throughout 2006, we worked closely with Sony to develop three navigation voices for a new range of in-car GPS products they were developing. However, in 2007 Sony decided to withdraw from the GPS PND market and the voices were never released.
ALK Technologies / O2 / QVC
Locutio has been working with ALK, the world’s largest subscription provider of navigation software, since early 2005. We recorded the voices of the founders of the Gumball Rally in 2006. In 2008 we reprocessed 34 voices from ALK’s international catalogue.
